1) Time Restraints
Time management is important. We all have incredibly busy schedules. Whether school, social life, kids, especially work. So squeezing in any moment for those reps can optimize your results. 20 squats during the commercial break of your favorite show. If you have a long lunch break at work, why not break out those kettlebells/ TRX bands/ or even some body weight calisthenics. They sell pull up bars and light resistance bands at target for the low. Walking the dog, biking to work, or make it a morning or nightly ritual to do 100 squats/ push ups/ and reverse crunches.

2) Lack of energy
We All get tired indeed! But a great tip is to get to your routine first thing in the morning if possible while your fresh. Less consumption processed foods we are eating. Eat more fruits!!!

3) Boring workout routines
We can easily victim. Create days to solely go in and do the basics and then have my days to implement the cool stuff. Program variety is Key!

4) Poor self image
Yes it can be intimidating. If it’s your first time, seeing people jumping all over the place, explosive push ups, deadlifting 405 yeah we get it! But better believe we all started somewhere. Its no judgement over here and any person should find it commendable that an out of shape, overweight, or obese person is getting their workout on. If it still ticks you off, do an outdoor workout or find a secluded area in the gym, we have plenty of space. But trust and believe any fit person would never poke fun at someone trying.

5) Combining Minor Task Once again time management. Rather than loading the laundry and looking at Facebook. It would make more sense to load the laundry and the dishwasher do paperwork while all machines are running simultaneously. It may sound simple but I notice when I put the phone down I get more done.

#transformationThursday was a stress eater! Since dealing with my relationship with food and discovering I used food to comfort my stress, I've made some small changes. I've incorporated meditation everyday, journaling, prayer, working out, and spending time with others into my routine. It has helped tremendously!! Finding the relationship with food or the source of why we use it to comfort us is helpful. Address it! If you need an additional push surround yourself with people that are working towards the same goal. Shoutout to my Fitnation family for being that push! Man, what a feeling...I'm not a big influencer here, I'm just a foreigner girl that became a woman and a mother and still trying to figure out her life - but one thing I'm sure of is that I have a passion - besides my precious son and my family - I love when I lift weights, I'm not a bodybuilder or lift heavy either, but I love how this shit is transforming my life... my body, my mind...
