It’s something that we all see, part of our everyday and the numbers of people on the street are becoming visibly worse.
With it being something that everyone is so aware of, shows that this is where apathy dwells the most. The attitude to homeless is probably one of the worst “accepted” parts of our societal mindset.
Pictured is Louis, a beautiful soul that came to our last event and this was his pledge; to share home-cooked food with the homeless people in his area. Such a wonderful idea.
And if this something you feel passionate about, it’s so easy to get involved. Whether it’s home-cooked food or company, choosing something instead of nothing is the goal.
One of my own pledges is that I stop as often as possible to talk with homeless people / get them food / give them a smile / hug them - to remind them that they aren’t invisible, to connect and just be recognised as a fellow human!
It’s so simple and so easy to do.
Thank you Louis for making your pledge 🙏🏽
