Having just finished our first 3 days we can definitely testify that the first 3 days are some of the hardest you will do in an extended fast. You feel weak, hungry, angry and all sorts of things. But there are ways to make it more bearable!

DRINK WATER 💦 
Seems straightforward but it’s so important to consistently drink water throughout the day. If you’re feeling hungry, drink water. If you’re feeling tired, drink water. Water is always one of the solutions to your problems.

MOVEMENT 🚶‍♀️🚶🏼‍♂️
Movement is life! Im not talking about grinding out a CrossFit workout or running a marathon but rather a light walk and some stretching movements. Our bodies rely on movement to pump the lymphatic system and move the toxicity through the body. So get some light movement in whatever capacity you feel capable of.

DEEP BREATHING 😑
Take time to stop and breathe deeply. Breathing deeply not only stimulates your lymphatic system allowing for better waste removal but it also activated your parasympathetic nervous system which is our ‘rest and digest’ nervous system. This allows our body to relax, be calm and properly heal itself.

SUNSHINE 🌞 
Sunshine is so fundamentally important to our healing process as the sun is our bodies greatest detoxifier and will assist in drawing toxins from the body out through the skin.
It is for this reason that cleaning the skin (more on that soon) is really important as any any build up of mould, fungus or yeast will actually cause your skin to burn more easily. Your skin will tell you when it has had enough sun by becoming red. So listen to your body. 
So get out in the open and get small doses of sun until you have built up a strong layer of melanin (a tan)

REST 😴
Rest is incredibly important when water fasting because it is when our bodies are at rest that our bodies are able to do most of the healing. When our bodies and our minds are calm, we are calm internally and our bodies don’t have to worry about stress. So find a nice relaxing place (ideally in the sun), close your eyes and just be at peace!

Day 10 done and we are officially half way! Big day of filming and some awesome content for the documentary!

Day 19: Rest during a fast is essential. Here are the key points:
1. Aim for 6 or 9 hours
2. Nap if possible or necessary
3. Decompress before sleeping
4. Keep stress low in general
5. Time liquid intake to improve chances of sleeping through the night
6. Avoid overtraining
7. Cycle off of caffeine periodically (if applicable)
8. Learn triangular breathing
9. Retire for the evening rather than crashing
10. Turn off frequency based media devices at bed time. No sleeping with the tv. If you must have music or ambient tracks, just use recordings in your library rather than streaming.

It's that time! I've got a goal to reach, and need to jump start this gut to break through this plateau I'm in. The next 3-5 days it's all about the water. 💦💦💧💦💧💦💧💦 I'm 7lbs away before I hit my first BIG goal of losing 40lbs. The flab is getting real, but the energy is surreal. I ate some beef last week, and I feel it just stuck in my gut. So after 2 months in Thailand I came back to Latvia and in the first day got food poisoning (didnt get that in 2 months in Asia) 😅
So I decided that it is time to do water fast to clean my body, mind and soul from all toxins.
Today I start my third day of water fasting so cheers guys about those clean and healthy body 😌👌🏾

Thought I’d do a body test and try one of the latest cold press juices from the supermarket (with no concentrate and only using Australian produce) during my own juice cleanse, as a replacement for a freshly made juice.
Won’t do that again!
My body cringed immediately as I felt like I just had a swig of cordial and I felt it in my fingers almost instantly as uncomfortable and tight 😣
I don’t care what anyone says, if it is a juice and lasts more than 3 days - it has to have preservatives in it!! And you don’t want to be doing that to your body during a time when your most sensitive!! A lesson in the name of science! Take one for the team!! 😂😁☺️ A big thank you to my walking food and juice testing body - that continues to remind me, if it’s not fresh from Mother Earth without sprays - it’s not true nutrition.
