Something that I'm having to come to terms with in a darker tinted environment is the challenge of keeping plants. Crypts do well, as do floaters, but many other plants simply don't receive enough light, and most "jettison" themselves, releasing their roots to float to the surface. It's a neat phenomenon, really!
I had high hopes for this nymphaea rubra to thrive once it hit the surface, but it hasn't done much in the past few weeks other than accumulate detritus. I may move it into the new 70G if it continues to underperform.
