This is how I finished off my #shoulderworkout today.
Reps and reps today as I just wanted to really get an awesome pump and burn, mission accomplished.
25 LB plate push ups to failure and then I had nothing left for body weight.
Busy week this week and I’m still making time for the gym and following my diet.
Push yourself because no one is going to do it for you.

I have a 10k race in 2 weeks time which I have forgotten to train for!!! So I will do 5 * 5k’s between now and then, and that will have to do.

@thomasdelauer makes some great tools for health that can really help on a ketogenic or carnivore diet. This fat/collagen formula is a great way to add some omega 3 into the mix. It has 400mg per tablespoon. You’d still need 3 tablespoons to equal a serving of salmon though for reference. This also has c8,10 MCT in it which will help crank up ketone production and provide energy for workouts. This is oil from algae but somehow tastes like chocolate cake batter. These are animal fat bombs... or chicharrones. They could've cooked longer but I was tired of the oil splatter. They release a lot of fat which can then be used for cooking. If you're Latino (me lol) I know you're thinking all you need is a tortilla and salsa... 😂 we need to stop thinking that way. US Latinos have high rates of diabetes... it's not okay!!! •

This actually tastes just like cookie dough. Not that any of you would be interested in that. I tried this bar on a whim (because I never eat bars) and I bought a whole box. They are really small bars and only 200 calories so I have one as a dessert because I really don’t snack. I feast. @marksmellybell and I also use protein shakes for dessert. Using Keto as a “Quick Fix” - Don’t think that things are going to be permanently different if you stick with keto for a couple months. This is a lifestyle change that you need to be prepared to stick with for the long term.

Eating the Wrong Fats - The bad fats that people may struggle with are the processed fats. This can be found in processed vegetable oils. So, because of this, cooking with these oils is a no-no. Fats that you want to be consuming are the saturated fats, monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats, and naturally occurring trans fats.

🥤Not Enough Water - During a keto diet, your body is going to lose a lot of fluids, so it’s important to stay as hydrated as possible. For some reason, people seem to forget about this a lot.

Not Enough Sleep - The process of getting into ketosis, when your body starts using fat as its energy source, can cause you to lose a little bit of sleep. You need to do what you can to get the proper amount of sleep that you need.

Not Mixing Meals Up - When you start mixing things up, you’ll find that the diet is much more enjoyable.

🙇 If anything, when you see somebody’s weight loss and it’s greater than yours, all you should do is congratulate them and keep encouraging them. Understand that your weight loss is happening and you will reach your goal eventually.

On the left I weighed 222lbs. I was extremely happy with my progress at this point in my #ketocarnivore journey having lost 50+lbs.

I was eating at a calorie deficit and running everyday, eventually hitting my all time low of 207lbs at 16% BF by the end of June.

On the left was just yesterday evening, weighing in at 214lbs.

I shifted from cutting to bulking about 2 months ago. Eating a calorie surplus and training 6 days a week @bbdthemovement is really starting to pay off 💪Ill be bulking for the next 6 months and look forward to the journey every.single.day
