I’m a chronic sufferer of lower back pain. The later part of this week I’ve been waking up with tremendous back pain. Usually walking around helps, but nothing seems to be elevating it. So I’ve been sitting a lot.
I’m afraid of loosing my progress by sitting around, so I decided to get up do some cardio to warm my muscles up, and then a really good session is stretching out my legs, hip flexors, back, groin area, shoulders, and neck. I cannot express how important it is to have good flexibility as you work out the muscle groups!! My husband and second daughter both have hamstrings that just don’t go straight!! There is so much tension that it often gives them mobility issues. In fact, she just suffered from an injury and her doctor warned her that her hamstrings being so tight could be a factor and may give her future injuries!
I’m not 100% but I feel a little better! I’ll keep my back warm today and keep doing small twists to stretch it out more!
