Yesterday I intended to tell you about my new morning routine, but... instead, I listened to what my soul needed and took the day off social media.

So today let’s celebrate that I’m on Day 16 of drinking CELERY JUICE first thing in the morning! 💚🌱 .
After watching @hersoulintention ROCK her month with celery juice, I was motivated to get back into the habit of drinking celery juice daily as a way to improve digestion, clean toxins from my body, clear up skin breakouts, and overall improve my energy levels. Celery is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and let me tell ya, it’s the most simple thing I’ve done to help improve my gut health!

Over the past 16 days, I have experienced:
.
🌱 Digestion and regularity like never before! I can clearly tell my body had built up toxins over the years that needed to be cleansed. .
🌱 Decreased bloat (Still hoping for more help with this!)

🌱Increased energy! With improved digestion and decreased bloat, I have felt less sluggish
.
.
One thing I am hoping to see relief from is my skin breakouts. In switching to natural makeup, my face has been reacting with pimples and blemishes (I have NEVER been one to have acne). I’m wondering if it’s the oils, if this is a natural reaction, or if celery juice will be able to help clear up my skin as I know it has done for many others. I am also going to spend time diving into more studies from @medicalmedium on the healing powers of celery because I would love to further understand WHY celery is such a miracle and what benefits it can offer me beyond what I have experienced so far. .

Don’t be fooled by the perfectly plated meals you see on my feed. As much as I would love every day to start with a scramble or fresh stack of waffles... that’s not my reality.

In fact, most mornings look about like this. Water bottle, coffee in a to-go bottle, and toaster waffles that I throw on a paper towel and shove into my lunch bag on my way out the door 🏃🏻‍♀️ Sometimes I leave time for making a smoothie, but not always. And when I don’t, I make sure to have something quick on hand so I can catch my bus and be on my way to work 💼

So, don’t feel like you’re alone when it comes to mornings that are less than glamorous... because ohhhh am I with ya! 💗 [& I intended to read my book and drink my coffee at home today, but instead of waking up early, I actually slept in about 15 minutes late 🤷🏻‍♀️ Aw well, whatcha gonna do!]

Chia pudding has been one of my fave breakfasts as of late & I love that I can prep it the night before and grab it on my way out the door in the morning! If you know me, I am chronically running late to everything so YOU KNOW this is a life saver! 🙌🏻

Recipe:
• Stir together 1 cup coconut milk, 3 Tbsp chia seeds, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/8 tsp vanilla, 1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut, 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen peptides. • Sit in fridge for about 20-30 minutes, stir it once more, and leave in fridge overnight • Top with dollop of @coyo_is_coconuts , sprinkle with toasted unsweetened coconut (or more shreds), and all the fresh mango your heart desires! 💛

Tired of spending your life savings on matcha lattes?... Me too. So why not make your own at home! [EXTRA bougie flower petals optional] .
.
To make your own matcha, combine the following ingredients in your blender:
• 1 cup hot (not quite boiling) water
• 1 Tbsp coconut butter
• 1 tsp matcha of choice or one of my faves, @vitalproteins matcha collagen (shown here)!
• If using your own matcha, add 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen • 1 tsp honey (or packet of stevia) for sweetener
• Dash of cinnamon • Splash of your favorite creamer (I use @ripplefoods vanilla creamer) • Optional: 1 tsp-1 Tbsp @bulletproof brain octane (amount depends on level of experience with brain octane - start small and increase over time)
• Optional: if you like adaptogens, add to your matcha for a boost! I add 1/4 tsp maca and 1/4 tsp lions mane 🍄

Whipped up this smoothie with @amazinggrass vanilla protein superfood, @vitalproteins collagen peptides, and allllll the goods [recipe below] - then topped with @coyo_is_coconuts and dem clusters (with a few more on the side, for good measure) 🍋

Recipe deets:
• 1 cup coconut milk
• 1 scoop @amazinggrass vanilla plant-based protein powder • 1 scoop @amazinggrass Raw Reserve • 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen peptides
• 1/2 frozen banana
• Handful frozen blueberries (about 1/2 cup)
• Big ol’ handful frozen spinach (I freeze fresh spinach for this reason)
• Dallop of @coyo_is_coconuts coconut dairy-free yogurt (“natural” flavor)
• 3 ice cubes
*Blend together, top with the yummies and you’re good to go! 😋
