Do mimosas count as a good source of vitamin C ?
here’s what I’m doing to help kick my cold to the curb so I’m ready to tackle the work week & holiday!
_____ ✚ luckily I’m off until Wednesday so rest rest, rest! sleep deprivation can lower our bodies ability to fight infection
_____ ✚ I’m taking ester-c immune support (I love this because it’s 24hr non gmo, gluten free, no soy, no preservatives, no sugar, no yeast, no fish, sodium free) Vitamin C helps activate red blood cells which carry your white blood cells - your infection fighters!
_____✚ hand washing, duh! Removes dirt & germs, protects my loved ones & keeps skins natural protective layer healthy and nourished.
_____✚ hot tea with honey to help soothe sore throat and hot liquids help with congestion & hydration. (Chamomile lavender with wildflower honey is my fav)
I’m also increasing my fluids to help my kidneys flush out toxins & regulate body temperature.
_____✚ warm bath with epsom salt, essential oils, meditation & heating pad: for symptom control. These things are generally relaxing for me and overall help with alleviating symptoms of tension and body aches. Epsom salts also help with toxins.
_____🖤 I’m also so lucky to have a loving husband who can make me laugh and care for me even from a distance. Truly the best medicine. @thacker_bu_8
