All you really need is a base (almond milk is what I use), frozen fruit (I love 🍌), nut butter, protein powder&collagen powder, and toppings like granola, unsweetened coconut flakes, and cocao nibs! Aging is out of my control but that doesn’t mean I can’t look good doing it!

I admit, I’ll try anti-aging anything (after doing research) but I’m not one to dwell on it. So when I heard about #collagenpeptides I needed to learn more.

Either way, I gave it a shot and to be more efficient, found a recipe that incorporates the peptides into my morning coffee!

Gut-healing Cinnamon coconut latte
•12 oz brewed coffee
•2 tsp coconut oil
•1/2 tsp ghee
•1/2 tsp cinnamon •1/4 cup coconut milk
•1/8 tsp vanilla extract
•1 scoop collagen peptides
•In small saucepan, mix milk, coconut oil, ghee, and vanilla to a low simmer. Brew coffee. In a small blender mix coffee, milk mixture, cinnamon, and peptides. Blend for 10-15 seconds until foamy. Add to your favorite mug and enjoy! 😘

Homemade bone broth from grass fed pipe marrow bones. Made two pots (one in the crockpot), ten hours of simmering. Fished out the bones when it was done and removed the jelly like cartilage, then threw in the blender to make an amazing umami creamy consistency. Freeze it and heat stovetop when ready to drink. To kick it up a notch I add a scoop of @vitalproteins collagen. Drink in the morning after celery juice. Gut healing, so many nutrients, electrolytes, healthy fats, etc.
To make:
Soak bones in pot of water with a cup ACV for 24 hours before making broth.
Put on baking sheet and bake bones till browned.
Put 2-3 bones in a big pot, cover with water.
Add veggies - celery, carrots, mushrooms, red pepper.
Add spices - bay leaf, peppercorns, dried thyme, fresh rosemary.

This mornings oatmeal looks 👀 ⠀

How I do: heat 1/2 cup oats with water enough water to cover in the microwave for one minute, stir, add 2 egg whites, and heat for an additional 30 seconds. If it’s still watery, stir and heat again. ⠀

Add 1/2 scoop of desired protein, cinnamon, and desired toppings! I added no sugar added maple syrup on top too, but it really didn’t need it 😋 ⠀

Happy hump day! It’s rest day for me and i for sure need it 🙂

Who else loves music as much as I do and could listen to it for hours on end?? Sometimes I will play the same song on repeat for days 🤷🏻‍♀️

First, I do not see this as a problem. I’m not hoarding I promise! I use these every single day at least twice. And though I started using collagen to try to help in any way make my bones stronger as I’m battling osteoporosis, stress fractures etc. what I’ve discovered over these past months though is that collagen is giving me all kinds of benefits!! My skin is in great shape, my carpal tunnel pain (which was mild) is gone, my hair stopped falling out, my gut feels better AND my nails (which used to be brittle and tearing) are strong and do not break.
