Second year student Keyan Ye (@keyanye) designs a youth hostel inspired by tessellations. She uses pentagons as formal starting points and references for circulation in the building. Her rooms are iterations on the same geometry to create a consistent series of typologies | Studio instructor: Erika Brandl Mouton | #mcgillarchitecture
This year I got a lot of gut checks and people doubting my potential. Instead of wasting time trying to figure out why, I got to work and learned everything I could. I have never grown as much as I did this year and now it’s my turn to take over. I’m not waiting for 2018 I’m already going crazy. Shot by @gelmigz and edited by me. There is no ceiling for @spacedvisuals get ready. As a side note most of this growth has been initiated and inspired by the best damn girlfriend/creative partner anybody could ever ask for. I love you Angelica. I can never thank you enough for you push and compassion.
