Ghalam Zani is a Persian art where the artists engraves beautiful and delicate designs onto different types of metal and shape them into bowls, vases and plates among other pieces. Walking through the Naghsh e Jahan square bazar, you hear a lot of gentle metal banging noises where these are being handmade πŸ’™

Walking towards the Shah Mosque to discover this masterpiece πŸ’™πŸ•Œ

The main dome of the Shah Mosque is seen from anywhere in the Naghsh e Jahan Square. The architect built the mosque in an angle to ensure this would happen and also so the mosque faces Mecca πŸ’™πŸ•Œ

This one is the interior of the southern wing of the mosque. The inside ceilings protected the outer layers and kept the inside temperature neutral throughout different seasons of the year. #gettingmyarchitecton
