Good evening all @sam.eardley84 with you and I hope you're all having a great weekend!! Wow, well what more can we say about this absolutely stunning shot from @adam.j.coulson I think you'll all agree on what a fantastic capture this is!
Thanks for using #hikingthelakes and be sure to to tag us in the future too Don't forget to tag those cloud shots and from what I've seen this weekend there has been some awesome cloud inversions in the lakes this weekend!
Coffee date with my two girlies today as requested by them (they wanted ice cream!) If it means they’re quiet for five minutes and I get coffee then everyone’s happy. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend xxx
after driving through cockermouth in thick fog i thought id try my luck and carry on down to loughrigg hoping for more of the same. unfortunately there wasnt a single wisp to be seen. so i drove all the way back and had a walk up low fell near loweswater. plenty of mist was still lingering and made for some nice compositions.
Taken last November at Rydal Water! The autumn colours were looking great! Unfortunately I didn’t make it up to the Lake District for the autumn colours this year, but will be heading up on Monday for the day! The plan is to head up Catbells for sunrise, but the weather isn’t looking great now, so may have to pick somewhere else! Anyone else got any ideas for places to go on a cloudy day in the Lake District?
