Twice a week I teach RehabYoga. In these classes right now I have people that is trying to overcome symptoms of to much stress. Some of them have been totally burned out and are on their way to recovery and some are in the stage of trying to find ways of accepting their new way of functioning.
Today, in the beginning of the class we had a conversation about boundaries and acceptance.
The boundaries each of them need to make for themselves towards themselves. The boundaries they need to make for themselves towards other people. And how that can make other people react with frustration and judgment.
We also talked about the journey that each of them are on, to find new patterns in their life to be able to make these boundaries. And how bumpy that road can be.
The class today focused on honoring the body, both with movement and stillness. By breathing and feeling. To be able to share with others the struggles.
This Taurus New Moon cycle is encouraging us to do just that. Honoring the body. The senses and their gifts, enjoying social connection and the healing energy of being in nature. Taurus also teaches us to fully and deeply appreciate what we have right in front of us, not just what we want to get next.
