This is my second time using a deadlift bar and I love it 😍 other than the fact that my hands are raw 🥩 (gnarly knurling). Hit a rep PR 3x6 for 225 at a lighter bodyweight, last cycle I only got 5 so that’s exciting!! Fucking bench. First off 385 came up flying. 16 lb PR then jumped to 395 which I got up half ways and couldn't finish off 😡 would've been a 26 lb PR total but I missed it

Shiiiiiii. Two PRs in one day at the GOATS 🐐 @getrichardietryn gym 🔥. Hit a top single at 530ish @RPE 10 🙌🏻 probably about a 6lb PR. I’ve encountered so many lower back and other lower body injuries this year so hitting this number was a huge win for me even tho it’s not a crazy high number like them big boizzz 😌. Then rep PR back off set at 485 3x3 @RPE 8.5 😁. Also, legit almost gave up a quarter on the way up cause the bar got slightly away from me but NAAAH. Stuck wid it like gorilla glue. DFS squad @tamaralifts2good @nujabeats @anthonyb_realtor @oookylem and kyles boiz. Also couldn’t catch my glasses in time like last time 😩. ALSO rockin the new @traphousefit_ shirt given me gains 💦

1st deal deadlift session, and it was ugly😱sets of 6 with 585-605. Got no endurance right now and my back blown up! But I know my conditioning will come back quick, just gotta get through this transition period

So ask yourself... is my gyms/coaches programming making me better, or just continually destroying me?? Anyone can put a killer workout on paper that will destroy you on the daily. But... are those killer workouts destroying you with an end goal? That’s the real question! Is the programming you’re pouring your energy and time into making you better over time? Or is it just knocking you on your ass every day? If you’re an athlete with goals you need to figure this out! Find a gym/coach with goal oriented programming. Because kicking your ass everyday doesn’t always make you better unless there’s a specific goal that’s is calculated into your work plan. Goal orientated program is a must for those looking to increase/improve their performance. Find programming that fits your needs. Don’t get stuck somewhere just because you like the people around you. Because in 10/20 years will those people still be in your life... maybe.. maybe not... but the results of your efforts will be!
In this video we see athlete @kendraj86 kicking butt with 65KG haulting snatch. She completed 4/2 today. This may not be a world record... but it’s a huge step for her as an athlete to simply be repping out her old 1RM!
