Working on backbends? The elusive maybe? Here is an exercise you can do at the gym with 15 pounds, using any adjustable weight bearing cable machine.
This pose is more about strength than flexibility, although don’t be fooled, you need both. The key, I have found, is front body strength. The added resistance allows you to engage your core, as well as have a little added support as you lower back and when you try to come back up.
This one is a game changer.
