A little about me!
I’m Cassie 👋🏻 I am a yogi/nurse/mama
I #ebf and baby wear, I believe both are what work for me and keep me happy and babies healthy, but no judgement on any other parenting choices. We go through enough of that already, right?
I have been practicing yoga for just over 6 years! Wow how time flies! I only started my daily personal practice in November 2014 which is also when I started my IG to hold myself accountable to progress and find some inspiration.
I started with Bikram and it is still my favorite to go to when I venture out for a class. But through IG I have found the beauty of other practices that I incorporate on my mat, or floor, or whatever 😅
I love the traditional practice of Ashtanga and I do the primary series everyday, I have played with asanas from other series as well, I know bad girl! However, I do have a deep respect for the traditional sequencing and history behind it.
I meditate everyday as well, at least 20 minutes (shoutout to @yoga_girl for inspiring that a couple years ago!) I started handstands in May of 2015 I believe and was pressing consistently in July of that same year.
I turned to my practice in 2015 A LOT because of a huge loss I went through.
I love cooking and baking and could spend all day in Williams Sonoma 😍 I have been inspired by many chefs (Chef’s Table is one of my favorite Netflix shows!) like @bybrogen @dominiquecrenn @nancysilverton female power 🔥🔥
Knife skills are my favorite! Although I don’t advise playing with them haha 🔪
Also I have two boys my youngest is just about 6 months and they keep me on my toes!
