When you got the latest of motherfucking everything 😂 This is only the start of the photography business I'm going to do with my friend @lezeualex. Now we're gonna create our brand, make a dope portfolio and start looking for clients. I mean if you want some dope pics and you're from my area lemme know 🔥✌🏻
Apparently we spend too much time staring at our phones and are just wasting our lives endlessly scrolling. But it really comes down to how you’re using it. Do I spend a lot of time on my phone? Hell yes. But I consider it part of my job and what people don’t see is the hours of human interaction that led up to the time spent looking at the screen. I could be directing a music video, shooting a corporate video or taking pictures of @sayfitnesspt for her Instagram page. All of these activities involve real life collaboration with other people. And yes, it does involve staring at the screen of your camera, but that’s fine in my mind; no one ever moans about a painter staring at his canvas all day. The phone time comes with the editing, sharing and promoting of your creation and subsequently interacting with those who view it. It’s all part of the process.
We should be choosing the time we spend staring at screens wisely. There is nothing wrong with large amounts of screen time, as long as it valuable and relevant to your work/lifestyle.
We need to stop looking to “how it was in my day” and accept the fact the future is here and this is where it is going. Embrace it, don’t suffocate it.
