Why do I hustle? Why do I work early mornings, late nights & in between naps? Why do I choose to do now what some aren't willing to try? ✨ For THIS! these 2 right here. (And my Rocco of course🐶) So every day can look like this- not just Sunday's and my husbands one week day off...not just sometimes... not just when my husband can take vacation. But all the time, every day. Because Cora deserves to have mommy and daddy both present. 💕Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't.🙌🏼

Real talk Monday:: You know the phrase "never miss a Monday" ?? Well, as far as my workouts and my biz are concerned- I really try not to! But, by working out from home and working my fitness business from home-- I have created the ability to prioritize the way I see fit for my family and our schedule. Am I on a 21 day journey? Yes. Is the schedule in place for a reason? Yes. Did I miss yesterday's work out. Yes. Did I make it up today and double up- you bet I did! 💪🏼 Yesterday's priorities were to celebrate Father's Day with our dads and soak in Ryans first of many fathers days to come. But- in true cliché fashion- I did not miss THIS Monday- and I hit it with a vengeance. 👊🏼🙋🏻🙌🏼 Day 4 and 5 in the books! ✔️ bring it day 6! 💕

Afternoon errands with mommy & Aunt Marlee. We went food shopping & stopped at the farm! 🌻🍃🌾

Breakfast on the deck. 🍃☀️☕️ I am so grateful for mornings like this. My husband works so hard to provide for us, so I can stay home with Cora & build a business. ✨ Right now, this works for us because we BOTH know how HARD the other one works for this FAMILY. 💚 Its not an easy road. Yes, I stay home and have my coffee on the back deck while Cora and Rocco nap out here with me.. But staying home does come with its struggles & sacrifice.. Right now. We believe in the decisions we've made thus far & have faith in our future. Not everyone can or will understand or agree with our choices, but they are for US & with our families best interest at heart. So cheers to you parents.. Whether you stay home, work outside the home, have 1 baby or 5 babies.. There will always be someone out there judging you.. Just continue to DO YOU & whatever IT is you are passionate about and believe in, make IT happen. 🙏🏼

My go to workout during my pregnancy has been PiYo, and now that I hit my third trimester, continuing with the program is more comfortable than I imagined it would be! I have been able to maintain strength and flexibility as my body goes through SO MANY new changes (including an additional 30 lbs!) It's been so easy on my joints since its low impact & not to extreme for little Coralynn or Mommy! 💕

I've said some of this before, but when you're a new mom on a #postpartumjourney, you want to share with other moms what is possible... And what happens emotionally when you're trying to "get your body back." To be honest there are days I don't like that phrase. Like get it BACK? Why can't we celebrate every form our bodies take? Why can't our goals be to be healthy for our healths sake? For our families sake? For our children... So they have a strong example of how to take care of and honor their bodies... I wasn't ashamed of my body on the left picture. That girl there, she carried a baby for 40+ weeks & delivered via "last-minute-decision-c-section", dude I'm proud of that girl! But there were still some facts, I knew that the excess weight for ME was not healthy.. I knew how weak & tired my body was after that surgery & not being able to work out for 6 weeks, and I knew where my mindset was at. Of course I was over the moon in love w my baby- but I needed the work out ME time. I needed to sweat and feel strong again... So I began, and I didn't stop. BUT- there are days that are FAR from perfect. Since delivering Cora 7 months ago... My eating has not been 100% clean, sometimes I JUST want pizza, I enjoy a glass of wine or a beer a couple of times a week, sometimes my work out is not fantastic, but you know what- in some respect (for myself) I show up every day... Small, consistent steps will ALWAYS get you to where you want to be... Am I the 120 lb., pre-baby, body I once was- NOPE!! I am a healthy, strong mama who is hopefully setting an example for her daughter that STRONG is more important than SKINNY & when you set out for a goal, you don't quit.
Mamas- I FEEL you. FEELING the way I felt on the left vs how I NOW FEEL on the right, is worth every minute I spend working out, meal prepping, making a daily shake, or reading personal development.
I am looking for 5 mamas who are looking for the "slow & steady" route to a happy, healthy lifestyle. Day 11 went DOWN today before the BBQ at my sisters house. It felt so good to get a little #zen for a few before family, fun & most importantly- FOOD!! Did I stick to my meal plan EXACTLY today? Well, no... But I know I've been consistent, so a few beers won't hurt, right? 😬🍻

Saturday sweat sesh went down earlier today. 10 days down, 11 to go. 💪🏼 What's that?? I think I see the faintest ab lines slowly coming back... Kindaaaa lol! 😄 but hey- a lot of that bloat is gone- thank you 21 day fix containers! 💚💜❤️💛💙#postpartumbody

Confession:: I need to adopt the word "No." I can honestly say I've been a people pleaser my whole life.. (Except maybe for my parents during awkward teen years) but I would never want to disappoint someone, have someone be mad at me, make a mistake, or feel like I let anyone down. After talking to a dear friend this morning... And after I told her about everything on my plate... We both agreed.. I spread myself WAY TOO THIN- all the time, constantly. Saying yes to everyone else's needs and demands is saying NO to me & my family. 💕 I can't continue to try to make it ALL work, I can't be 2 places at once... Embarrassingly, it's taken me 31 and a half years to realize it... So cheers to balancing strictly priorities, my family, my home, my work & ME! And cheers to learning to make "NO" a complete sentence, with no explanations to anyone. 🙋🏻

I'm no top chef. Not even that good of a cook. I don't "plate" nicely. &I some of my foods may even look unappetizing. But hello, breakfast bowl! 🍳☀️ This bad boy might become a daily routine.
