Anyone else feel super in control and a little bada$$ when you are prepped with your food ready to go for the week👩🏻🎤? Yep, I do too. Except that is NOT me right now 🙆🏻♀️ I bought the groceries. I picked some great recipes from a new cookbook. And then________ .....fill in the blank with any of the dozen things that kept me out of the kitchen until 4:00pm today. I was able to get a few things together for my boys for the week, but not nearly what I had planned. It happens. So did I order pizza as my altar ego suggested? Nope. Just leaned on the strategies I have learned from an open-ended program that teaches the why instead of the what. It guided me to look at what I have & find a way to make it serve me. It’s nights like tonight that make me stand firm in this program because I’m proof it can effective and simple and work amongst unplanned chaos.
