A small sample of what I harvested from my 150 square ft annual vegetable garden today! Just a reminder that you don't need a ton of space to grow a hearty harvest.
The gardens we design/build and maintain range in size, shape and form, and I love designing and working in them all, but I especially love the challenge of growing a high yield vegetable garden in a smaller amount of space. To be successful in small spaces you really have to stay on top of things and clear crops as soon as they're finished, or are comprised by pest or disease. But at the same time, smaller gardens can also be much more practical to maintain for many busy people. If you're thinking about building a garden this fall, ask yourself how much time you have to dedicate to your garden each week and design your space accordingly!
