3 years ago I went vegan 'cause I saw all that happened behind closed doors and couldn't support it. That didn't mean that I had given up my ability to build and maintain muscle, just that I was through with animal products. I don't struggle with protein intake, I hit all my micronutrients daily, and I haven't become frail and hopeless. Oat Pancakes - my client @anilosh likes them :)!! Blend ยฝ-1 cup dry oats into a flour. Add 1 ripe banana & ยฝ cup plank milk & cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice & optional ยผ tsp vanilla extract) Blend until all is combined. Warm a non-stick pan and pour batter onto pan. Flip when it bubbles. Cook through. Add Toppings! Yum. The chocolate mousse is adapted from @lilsipper ๐Ÿค— I have my quad workout to show you guys later. Currently on the floor, legs up tha wall ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป

The popularity of Kombucha is on the rise. I had my Fit Hour ladies sample some yesterday.
Kombucha has some great benefits. I was surprised to find it contained vitamin B12 as it is a vitamin that most people are low in.

It's a cidery taste that does get some getting used to. Now that you know it's benefits, go get ya some. When you are choosing pick the one with the lowest amount of sugar. Don't get crazy with lt lol.

Ingredients:
--Quinoa --Pinto Beans
--Avocado
--Heirloom Tomatoes
--Braggs Liquid Amino
--Italian Herbs Seasoning
--
Cook pinto beans first, with a tablespoon of Braggs liquid aminos and some Italian herbs seasoning. Add the quinoa in the pan with the beans and cook until mostly dry. Chop one whole avocado and a few heirloom tomatoes! .

My non-negotiable supplements as a vegan are... * D3-2000iu per day
* B-12 2500mcg per week
* Greens: a mix of 1-2 serving per day

Two of these are kids vitamins (Not by choice. They were on sale and Hong Kong supps are expensive). Do what you can with what you've got ๐Ÿ˜‰

These three contain vitamins and minerals not generally found in food, making it impossible to get the amount needed without supplementation.
Lastly, the greens make me personally feel better and there are benefits to consuming them that aren't found in the foods we normally eat.

Here is the funny thing... we all need these, not just vegans. Oh, and we all are different so you might find you need more or less of something.
Figure out what works for you and own that shit ๐Ÿ˜œ

Super Yummy 108% Organic Vegan Dinner with my lil girl.

Hearty Miso Noodle Soup with 100% Buckwheat soba, local grown sliced onions, carrots, crimini mushrooms, cubed sprouted tofu, ripped kombu, dulse flakes, fresh chopped ginger and tumeric, black pepper, japanese hot pepper, Himalayan Salt, Roasted Garlic, and lil bit of olive oil.

Padron peppers sauteed in boutique arbequina cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, with roasted garlic, black pepper, Himalayan Sea Salt and fresh squeezed lemon juice.

The last dish was a combo of Indian leftovers from AMMA Satsang that my Indian sister Anupama always makes sure I take when she hosts. Brown rice, Channa Dal and some Sambar, all mixed together. Perfect spice balance! Reheat and eat!

I love spending time like this and nourishing my little girl's body, which is far from little anymore and her taste buds too!
