*4 WEEK VEGAN BULK PROGRESS* let's be honest I'm not over the moon with my current progress BUTT this process is nothing if I don't have accountability and the whole gang involved!! Also I'm just using this feedback to *ass*es 😉my progress and see if anything needs to be changed. If I see it objectively and don't add meaning to progress or lack of progress (e.g. I suck, I failed) then I can move forward with a clear mind. I'm so glad I used that awful filter and back of the drawer underwear in that first picture😂😂. Had a hard time getting into the first pose again - so it's difficult to tell if there's a change. I do think I've given myself a bit of a butt-lift? Not sure. Let's keep going!

Another day of grinding in the GYM. Today's is all about shoulders. I started off with alternating side raises with the DB's then went to single side raises, seated front raises. These moves were done in drop sets starting from 2015,10,5 then I moved on to seated shoulder press on the smith machine. I was on my fourth set in this video. Immediately finished up with heavy shrugs. #vegantrainer #shoulderworkout #donovangreen

Omg!!! This Pico De Gallo is everything!!!
So delicious and refreshing!!! ******************************************************************************** Ingredients * 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
* 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
* 1/2 cup finely chopped hothouse cucumber
* 3 cups chopped tomatoes on the vine
* 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet red onion
* 4-5 large garlic cloves, minced
* 1 or 2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped...(leave out if you don't want the heat 😈)
* 1 bunch of cilantro leaves, chopped
* 2 fresh limes, juiced
* Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Gently combine all ingredients, adjust to your taste.
2. Let sit covered on the counter (room temp) for 20-30 minutes for the best flavor.
3. Serve over salads.
4. Cover, and refrigerate leftovers for 2-3 days.

Today I took my ladies who accepted the 7-Day Challenge food shopping. We're missing half of the crew for the picture but we got to shop around for everything on the meal plan and talked about meal prepping.
We cleared Luckys Market of tofu and tempeh😂

KNEELING QUADRICEPS STRETCH

Start in a lunge position with the knee of front leg bent at a 90 degree angle; lower the knee of your back leg to the ground; now grab the foot of the back leg and pull it towards your glutes until you feel a stretch

Stretches quadriceps and psoas.
Tight quadriceps is often the cause of knee pain as well as back pain!

My pizza today was incredible!!! Gluten free Red sauce base with vegan cheese , sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, black olives, Roma tomatoes, broccoli, banana peppers, artichoke hearts and tofu.

The leg press is a great way to destroy your quads. It's also a great alternative if you are unable to do a barbell squat. Leg presses are quad and glute dominant while barbell squats fires up multiple muscles groups. Squats is compound exercise while the leg press is not. However, I love them both.
