I haven't been pouring myself into anything fully but today I decided to really commit to Project Self-Love this year. I started something of this sort in the final quarter of last year but things happened such as reading things I wasn't sure I was able to comprehend 😂 But it's necessary for my so-called growth. We all do things we don't understand anyway so don't judge me. Haha! I transferred chia seeds into a recycled bottle and it turned out cute! Chia is said to be runner's food and it means "strength" in the Mayan language. More than the physical strength I'd be needing exactly one month from today, I hope I'd have the strength to continue my self-love journey. And I hope the same for you! ❤
Just in case you'll doubt about veganism being so simple, I set aside some bananas to accompany my bowl of "Saba sa Gata" (Saba bananas in coconut milk) just to make it more legit that I only used two things for this.
Being vegan in the Philippines is really simple because we live where there are edible plants everywhere. No need to get cruel and take part in murder and pray the world will be kind when you are not. ✌ And if you think you're running out of options, "Bahay Kubo" is always there to remind you how plenty your choices are. Plus you know, coconut trees and bananas.
