It’s the least we could do. I am seeing more and more reports of how Vegan lifestyles could really affect change due to the enormous burden raising animals for food creates on our planet not to mention the high cost of poor health from high protein diets. We simply weren’t designed to cause harm to thrive - our bodies are speaking, our earth is speaking and the animals are speaking.
But what about the cheese???
I know, I know, that was my big addiction. So, what if the cheese factor solved itself, as it did for me, with no cravings or desire to eat it again? When I decided to follow a 28 day raw cleanse, I simply lost the taste. I didn’t plan for it. It just happened because my body was radiating from hydration and nutrients. One little taste a few months later and all I thought was - holy crap this is pure FUNGUS right here!
Sometimes - no matter what area of life we want to shift, we just have to be willing to create a space for a new cognitive shift to happen.
The path of least harm - to our bodies, the planet, animals and each other - it makes the most sense to me.
If you do decide to shift your lifestyle, I LOVE supporting change makers into HEALTHY and sustainable choices - so feel free to connect.
