To me, Yoga is all about my connection with myself and how that translates into the way I connect with the world. When I practice on my own I don’t always move through poses in traditional ways and I rarely use a mat. I want my body to move freely because intrinsically I want to feel free. Yoga is my practice of listening to my body, watching it, feeling it, and moving in a way that outwardly reflects my inner workings. As time has gone on I have noticed the more I listen to my body the more I listen to other people, the more I let myself be free the more I let others be free. I guess what I’m getting at is, my practice starts with me, because when I change my inner world, the outer world shifts in unexpected ways. That’s why I am offering the restorative intensive this weekend at @vedayoga. It’s a start to listening to your body, developing a home practice, and becoming your own teacher so that you are free to go as deep as you want whenever you want. I want to gift you a simple guide to begin the art of self study in a gentle way. The workshop is 2-5pm both Saturday and Sunday, and it’s $100 all in. If you can’t make both days just send me a DM and we will see what we can work out. Sign up through the Veda Website, link in my bio.
If slow isn’t your thing and you just wanna rage, I do that too... I’m teaching ecstatic flow at @fdphotoevents next Tuesday 7:30-9pm, tickets available through their page, and on eventbrite. ❤️
Happy Thursday my angels.
