Paul: I run about 6 days per week and I total my annual mileage at end of the year to be around 2400 miles. Not bad I knowπŸ‘Œ

Paul: I would have to say the power of having focus for each run during training. As my coach taught me, "Make your miles count, but don't count your miles." That always just made so much sense and really just hit home with me.

Logging some miles in Cabo this week πŸƒπŸ»!! So nice to run in warm humidity and not in snow gear. I'll need to run about 10 miles a day to counter the damage I am doing at the all-inclusive restaurants πŸ˜‹. Today I ran from our resort to downtown and around the marina. A few wrong turns and I couldn't find my way back. Had to go into two gas stations and ask for directions. Let's just say my Spanish is very picito... #cabosanlucas #vacationrun

JF: I run to find balance again in my mind and my spirit. I experienced a lot of hardships in the past year and running is my method of meditation.πŸ’†

JF: I run. 2-3 times per week and I have no clue what my annual mileage is because I just don't keep track.

Q3. How Do You Stay Motivated When You Don't Feel Like Running?
JF: I put my 🎧 and I listen to inspiration speaking and music from Youtube.

JF: I would have to say @redbull because I use it frequently to give me that boost of energy I desire so muchπŸ˜πŸ™Œ

JF: To find my own inner strength again and confidence to show my daughters that if you put your mind to something - you will be able to obtain it. Key is to practice building a strong mind, so you can have a strong body.

Q6. What's One Thing You Learned From Running And Has Really Stuck With You?
JF: I run minimalistic - I feel personally that from my running it has helped improve strengthening my lower body from pressure usually experienced from running in regular shoes. I believe the more you feel the ground the more aware you are of how you stride, where you will land your foot the next stride and also to connect with nature. If still don't know what I mean, it's basically running barefoot.

#runningtherapy is a real, true thing! I LOVE running, and running helps me think through all sorts of things. Today, we are dropping Kidlet #1 off for her first time ever at sleepaway camp. Even though I am super excited for her, and we can actually SEE the camp from where we stay, AND it's my camp alma mater and I know much of the staff and some of her cabin mates are daughters of my own camp friends, I am still a mom, who is sending her baby away from the nest for a little bit. It's super emotional. She seems really excited, and I'm really excited, but I'm also super anxious at the same time. I had to go for a run this morning to have a little quiet time by myself to get some of MY jitters out...6 Miles on a gorgeous morning...
