Waste Architecture♻️ I met with a friend today. She's an environmentalist and made me think about waste management, landscape architecture and the need to integrate these systems more when we plan & design. The Northala fields in London, created by landscape architect Igor Marco (LDA design) and artist Peter Fink, is an awardwinning park from 2008. It's made up of four articifial hills, using just materials from the old Wembley Stadium, demolished in 2003. It represents an interesting synergy which I hope we will come to see more of!
