So after 9 months with out a sneak peak of my Sweet syndrome flares it came on last night slowly (good thing). Swelling, lumps and bumps Pain in my right foot and left ankle, right hand (the worst and 1st thing I noticed) which shifted all around the whole today and landed in a deceiving little lump I can't even touch because of the pain. Sweet syndrome is such a rare syndrome that I have (Google shows you insane rashes which doesn't happen to me thank god). I do have the most extreme rare symptoms pf attacking my tendons and joints causing extreme pain and swelling. I tend to be a medical mystery and have tentative game plan for treatment......because how die we test this but guess!? As a nurse this is frustrating , painful and soul crushing for now over the past year and a half.
Every one has their road. These pictures are as good this this time around cause hopefully we have a game plan that works! Usually I end up hospitalized with on hours in debilitating pain for a week at a time. And for those who know me I have a beyond high tolerance for it!
I just want to share that not all days are rainbows and butterflies but I try to make it that way. Especially for my little ones. I feel I'm now on the road to have some kind of control to this nightmare we have been delt. Doctors do what they can but you have to have patience woth them as well cause they DON'T have all the answers. I honor the work they have done over this past short time as I literally stump the shit out of them.
