You’ll find far and few chicken on the menus of Czech restaurants but duck on the other hand...love me some gamey bird.
Everyone goes to U Modré Kachničky for roast duck and twice we got turned away for having no reservations. Third time wiser, our persistence paid off 🤣
Listen to the crackling! Thin crisp skin and underneath it succulent meat, almost as if it’s been confit. They have many variations of the bird on the menu but this was with white and red cabbage (sauerkraut) and rolled potato bacon dumplings.
