Focusing more on strength and less on hypertrophy during this training block. This was my last set of 5 triples of #205 after 5X5 of #185. After this I was pretty gased 😁💨 not to mention warming up for heavi(er) lifts takes time. Although I would love to train all day, I don't lift for a living. If you know of a place that is hiring for that, please sign me up 🙋🏻 On a #srs note though- what I am learning through this process is that training for specificity may require sacrifice in other areas. I won't get to hit all the angles and lift #alltheweights. But there's something to be learned from this training mentality-if you can't do it all and do it well, it's okay to focus on one or two things at a time.
