Happy Caturday!! ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ฝ Have you heard of this timed nutrition practice?? Well, it has peaked my curiosity so I decided to try having a pre-workout meal today. Gotta say, I donโ€™t think itโ€™s for me. I still felt โ€œheavyโ€ and (sorry in advance if this is TMI) burped a lot...thank god the workout wasnโ€™t hardcore cardio! I only ate 2 scrambled eggs with a slice of sprouted grain toast and avocado slices too, so I donโ€™t think it was a heavy meal. I waited a good 1.5 hours too. Oh well, I tried!
My Post workout was a delish superfood Shake with pineapples and PB Fit!! Yummo!! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Do you eat before, or after, your workouts???

Happy Fitness Tip Friday! ๐Ÿ˜โœ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Who thinks you can't get in a good, effective workout doing modifications?? ๐Ÿค” Me ๐Ÿคš๐Ÿผ! Well, I used to believe that if I wasn't doing the exact move the trainer was doing, I wouldn't see progress or get any benefit (can you say perfectionist?๐Ÿ˜ณ). WRONG! Yep, that's right...even modified moves will give you a GREAT workout friends! In fact, when you practice the moves at the level YOU are at, you will get THE most from your workout! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ And you'll build strength and endurance, and begin to see gains and progress faster than you might think!
How do you know when to modify? When youur starts to suffer, or you cannot do the move with the same depth, or weight, as the trainer. You also avoid injuries by modifying when you need to! Injuries lead to delays, frustrations, and all kinds of other negative stuff so let's avoid that and modify when we need to team!
These moves from tiday's workout were all modified! This isn't race against anyone else, guys. It's about meeting your body where it's at, honoring it, and building strength in a safe, healthy way so we keep you on track and grow beautiful, strong, life changing results and bods so we can keep doing all of those crazy, amazing things we do! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ•บ

On Thursdays I've made it a habit to acknowledge my blessings-ya know, Thankful Thursday! Today, I'm eternally grateful for the love and support of family and friends who love me and all of my unattractive flaws! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž I love you all back just the same way! And my team of fabulous Goddesses who are CRUSHING goals like mad! ๐Ÿ”จ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐ŸŽค Being open to learning more about myself and working at becoming a better me is a blessing I did not see coming 7 months ago. When I took this leap of faith and decided to follow my heart and my passion to be a coach, I thought what the heck, I'll give it a shot! That in and of itself is a blessing guys! Just being open to all of the opportunities that the Universe puts before us! I'm reading another Gabby Bernstein book, Judgment Detox, and noy one chapter in, I've already had so many ah-ha moments it's crazy! Can't wait to see what I learn in the next few weeks!

Well, well Wednesday. Day 3 of my Bootcamp. It started rough-hard as hell to get up this morning. I didnโ€™t sleep well and had a headache-the dry air is wreaking havoc on my sinuses. I did it though, pushed play and even had some gains!!! The thing is guys, it doesnโ€™t matter if itโ€™s perfect or pretty, as long as you do it, THAT is what counts!! My fav super-trainer's Tip of the Day is Step It Up, and that is exactly what you do when you show up for YOU, no matter what! ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ My progress sheets here show it hasnโ€™t always been on point-missed days, Heck even a whole week once! But Iโ€™m just a week and a half away from completing this program from start to finish!!! First time Iโ€™ve done that-at least with a program longer than 3-4 weeks! Iโ€™m not giving up now and neither will you! I have already seen what happens when I give up, now I need to see what happens when I DON'T, Youโ€™ve got this too, my friends!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Getting up at 4:15 am to workout sounds crazy to a lot of people, including me some days ๐Ÿ˜, but I never regret pushing play once itโ€™s done!
Tuesday Tip-when youโ€™re struggling to get the work done, remember how freakin AWESOME you feel when you totally SMASH ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŒ‹ your workout! Endorphins, me take away!! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜

Happy Monslay friends!! So how many of you made New Years Resolutions about fitness and working out???? How are those going?
Iโ€™ve stopped making โ€œresolutionsโ€ and simply have committed to myself to DO MY BEST! Resolutions didnโ€™t work for me. They werenโ€™t genuine and I didnโ€™t stick to them, or even feel any accountability to them. The difference now is I have decided to make myself, my health, wellness, self worth a priority-not just to reach some ridiculous โ€œmagicalโ€ number on a scale or a pants size to squeeze back into! Iโ€™ve also used working out and extreme dieting to avoid facing fears, trying to be in control of something when life felt too chaotic. All the wrong reasons only resulted in negativity, feeling like a failureโ€”it was a crazy, unsustainable roller coaster! No one deserves that!
I was creating even more stress and anxiety than I had ever experienced and compromised my mental wellness and even physical! WTF? Why do we do that to ourselves? Itโ€™s crazy, but be honest-weโ€™ve all done it in some way shape or form. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Iโ€™m just here to say please DONโ€™T!! Make you and your health a priority. Youโ€™ll be a better Mom, Dad, wife, hubs, sister, brother, friend, colleague, you name it!!! Youโ€™ll find so much more happiness and love when you practice this mindset. You deserve happiness and joy in every aspect of your life friends!! Itโ€™s not tough either, especially when you share with others!

I'm really excited about this group because these are some fierce women ready to CRUSH ๐Ÿ”จ๐Ÿ”จ goals, punch ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿผ fears in the face, and ROCK ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽธ their wellness and fitness plans! It's going to be the BEST bootcamp yet! There's still time to get in on the fun if you're ready! You just need to holler at me! ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ˜ Let!s do this 2018! This time last year I was struggling to find balance and motivation even though I would tell myself every single night, ok-this is it-tomorrow Iโ€™m getting up and working out. It didnโ€™t happen, and then Iโ€™d beat myself up for not keeping my promises to myself. I honestly felt horrible about me! No one should feel that way. All of us deserve to enjoy the pure love thatโ€™s self-love! ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธโค๏ธ So whatโ€™s different now? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” Even after a nearly two week hiatus?? 5 workouts smashed out already this week, and the week isnโ€™t even over yet!!! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคฉ I committed to me, made a decision to make ME a priority and not make excuses anymore! We all have it inside of us-that intestinal fortitude we need to get us thru whatever life throws at us. Some of us are better at tapping into that, and some of us cosmic kindergartners ๐Ÿ˜ณ take a lot longer to figure out how to do it. Every single one of us CAN do whatever we DECIDE we want!! Isnโ€™t that kinda magical??? ๐Ÿ’“ You have it too!! I have found so many new ways to dig deep and find this power within me along my journey this past year-reading, listening, my precious fit fam and friends!! Itโ€™s all here for you too! This first week after nearly two weeks of indulging is HARD!! You may think I have it all together and working out is fun for me, that I donโ€™t have motivation problems but please, just STOP! I have my days just like everyone else. Today was one. I wanted to reset that alarm so bad because I was tired, had a headache, and Iโ€™m sore. I remembered what I said last night about setting an example for my daughter, and thatโ€™s what it took today. And I got to wear new workout pants!!! #popflexactive Other days, it takes more and some days I donโ€™t have any trouble. Every day is a different day. A different struggle or different excitement.
Just remember, weโ€™re all dealing with things and we can let them be excuses and sabotage our dreams, plans and our ability to live our dream life, OR we can harness them and use them for motivation and inspiration. Itโ€™s your choice!!! What are you gonna do???
