A word on mental health and wellbeing as we near the end of @uccsu’s Mental Health Week: It is a very common thing for college students going through a time of immense change to experience mental health difficulties. At times we all feel like we are in the dark, or that there is no hope for the future. It’s important to remind yourself that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and you can create a support system for yourself by going out and getting involved in college life. Sport is a great way to do that - but maybe societies is more your style, or maybe making friends in your own course. Just remember no matter what: clubs, societies and the SU are here to support and guide you through college, so don’t be afraid to get involved and above all don’t be afraid to talk about your mental health!
