My mantra at the moment 🤞💫
>>> things can change so quickly.
After a routine ultrasound at the hospital last Wednesday, I haven't been allowed to leave.
The babies are perfect health/size and my health is as good as ever but they picked up on something that could have led to preterm labour...I could have gone into labour at boxing that night! 🙈
They were going to fly me to Melbourne that night but thankfully we didn't have to. After another ultrasound on the Friday, they were happy for me to stay in hospital locally. Taking each day as it comes at the moment and I'm just so grateful to still be near my family and friends 🙏
29+3 and 1 week in hospital on bed rest so far. Could be spending a few more weeks in here on bedrest but I'll do whatever it takes to keep these babies healthy and safe and to give them the best possible start to life.
Unfortunately there's nothing I could have done differently. Just the pressure and weight of two babies is keeping things interesting.
In the grand scheme of things, I know this is a tiny fraction of time and I'm still one of the lucky ones to be carrying two healthy bubbas 👶👶💜💜
