Have you ever been asked how your given name was chosen? Have you ever looked for the origin and meaning of your name?
Do you remember when you learn to spell your name? I do, everyone applaud you and it made you feel so accomplished!
As we get older we are fast to correct our name when we miss hear it said or misspelled by others, should we be then careless with the One Name given for salvation?
But for most of us, through tradition, have known the Creator as G o d. Have you ever looked up the origin of its meaning? Well in my story, being brought up in Catholicism, then Christianity, the only name I knew was "Jesus", and I didn't know much about the Father, and when I heard He had a Hebrew Name it brought my world upside down. It was very emotional for me to find, after a few months of studying, that I never knew His given Name.
And ever since, for the last 16 years of my spiritual growth, in closer relationship with my Father, I test and research what I hear, because I rely on His Ruach to show me.
There's many well known "teachers", figures in the Messianic movement who teach and claim to know the Name of the Creator, but have you really study and prove their findings or do you just believe them became you enjoy their ministry?
I personally have quite a few favorite researchers, who I enjoy listening to but only rely on testing what they research, and we can learn by hearing when you have His Ruach, which was given to us on the day of Shabouth (Pentecost) see Acts 2, since faith comes by hearing, take what is proved and hold fast what was is good.~>vvvv continue...
