Ahi Tuna & Avocado Wonton Crisps

Not sure how it’s suddenly October (wut da...?), but having a college student takes a ton of adjusting... both time & heart!!! And regardless of what social media dictates, my lack of food posts as of late does NOT mean I haven’t been feeding my child!!! 😂😂😳
This ahi-tuna wonton crisps that he loooves for example... Marinated Ahi Tuna, avocados, some wonton wrappers… and you’re set! They might look all fancy schmancy but these yummies are crazy simple to prepare (and devour)!!! 🐟😍🍴I fried my wontons but you can bake them too (instructions below) Ok... ready?
* 1 pound sashimi-grade Ahi tuna cut into 1 inch cubes
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
* 2 teaspoons ginger, grated (I use the one in the squeeze bottle!)
* 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
* 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional - for spicy tuna!)
* 2 avocados, cut into cubes
* Wonton wrappers
* Vegetable oil (for frying or baking wontons)
* Yum yum sauce to drizzle (optional)
1. Cut Ahi into 1-inch cubes. Place in a large bowl.
2. Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, sesame seeds (and sriracha if making spicy tuna) into bowl with Ahi and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
Fried Wonton Crisps
1. Add about 1 inch of vegetable oil into deep pan and heat over medium-high heat.
2. Fry wontons in batches, about 15 to 20 seconds on each side or until golden brown and crisp.
3. Drain on paper towels.
Baked Wonton Crisps
1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
2. Lightly spray or brush wontons with oil and arrange on baking sheet in single layer.
3. Bake for about 6 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
Spoon avocados followed by ahi-tuna on crisped wontons. Top with toasted sesame seeds and drizzle yum yum sauce. Enjoy!

Cuando el almuerzo me queda 👌🏼 Delicioso y DIVINO!

1 filete de atún de 4 oz
1/2 aguacate
1 cucharada de salsa de soya
1 cucharadita de aceite de ajonjolí
1 cucharadita de vinagre de arroz
1 cucharadita de semillas de ajonjolí
1/4 cucharadita de pimienta roja
Parte la tuna en cubitos y mete al freezer. Prepara la salsa (soy sauce, aceite, vinagre, pimienta y semillas)
Agrega al atún y sirve con aguacate! Agrega más semillas para decorar.

Minha versão de Tuna Poke tem arroz integral com wasabi e algas picadas, Moyashi (brotos de Feijão), cogumelo Shimeji, Couve manteiga orgânica, Atum selado com gergelim e chips de Mandioquinha. Cozinhe uma porção de arroz integral com seu tempero habitual. Depois de cozido, adicione uma colher de sopa de wasabi e pique uma folha de algas em pedacinhos crocantes. Esta é a base do poke. Tempere um pedaço de atum limpo com sal e pimenta. Passe nas sementes de gergelim para empanar e grelhe em uma frigideira antiaderente bem quente até selar todos os lados mantendo o centro cru. Corte em fatias e reserve. Refogue duas folhas de couve manteiga cortadas em tiras, em óleo de côco até ficarem macias mas ainda tenras. Reserve. Cozinhe um punhado de Moyashi com um pouco de água, 1 colher de sopa de molho de soja light e algumas gotas de óleo de gergelim. Reserve. Descasque uma mandioquinha, corte em finas rodelas e asse no forno quente até ficar crocante. Reserve. Refogue um pouco de shimeji em manteiga ghee ou óleo de côco e sal a gosto. Montagem: use um bowl como o prato da refeição. Na base adicione o arroz e por cima distribua pequenas porções da couve, do moyashi e do shimeji, uma ao lado da outra. Por cima acomode as fatias de atum e finalize com os chips de mandioquinha e cebolinha picada. #tunapokebowl #tunapoke #pokebowl #fitchefsolsotille
