"Eat what is good" - Isaiah 55:2 🌸 •• As a start, we need to understand that our bodies are the temple of God and we need to look after them! We can confirm that in 1 Corinthians 6:19... Imagine someone throwing all their junk in your house! You wouldn't like it, would you? So that's exactly how it makes God feel when we destroy our bodies with unhealthy foods. 🌸
•• Psalm 139:13 tells us that God knit us together in our mothers' womb. He spent so much effort creating us so we need to respect our bodies that He worked so hard on. We can do that by • Eating healthy
• Exercising • Drinking lots of water
• Avoiding alcohol and smoking 🌸 Sometimes it's hard to look after our bodies... but we need to remember that when Daniel was given the king's quality delicacies to eat, he stood up for his beliefs. He ate vegetables and other healthy foods and drank water instead of the excessive meats and wine he was given and he turned out to be stronger than the ones that ate the king's food.
