Need enough sleep for your adventures this summer? Nobody likes to be groggy and foggy minded when they’re trying to make the most of these warm summer days. Being fully present will help us enjoy our plans, and the key to this is a well-rested mind. For #TuesdaySnoozeday, we’re sharing some tried-and-true tips from Mind Body Green on how we can stay well-rested this summer. Remember that a good night’s sleep is key for our overall physical and mental health! PATH PLAN:
STEP 1 – Put away all your screens at least one hour before bedtime.
STEP 2 – Get regular exercise. If you are not getting enough sleep, try exercising for 150 minutes per week (or 21 minutes every day) and see if it helps you get some shuteye.
STEP 3 – Soak in some vitamin D. It will help your body regulate its internal clock, knowing when it should be awake and when it should fall asleep.
