As a retailer who stocks and supports over 110 handmade designers, as a jewelry designer myself having had my work stolen by a large company a few years ago as well, as stockists of @tuesdaybassen, @thesearethings and @bigbudpress all of whom have had their work stolen and replicated by Zara, as a genuine fan of the 30+ designers whose art has been stolen by Zara and their conglomerates, and as a person who has known @tuesdaybassen through the incredible and supportive world of handmade for many years, my business, my team and I stand by you all.
If you haven't been following @tuesdaybassen's journey of taking action against art theft, please visit her Instagram to learn more along with @shoparttheft. It is an honor for us to get to support her and many of the handmade artists whose work has been stolen time and time again by massive companies. It's a reminder to us all, investing in handmade, investing in small businesses is investing in the people behind the brands, supporting their honest and creative visions and empowering hardworking and dedicated people pursuing their dreams.
We're so grateful we get to support you #tuesdaybassen. And our customers are standing by you as well. We've had multiple people purchase your pins and patches lately saying "buying this is in solidarity with Tuesday." To all our friends, fans and customers: Thank you guys for believing and investing in companies like ours, companies like Tuesday's and so many other smaller businesses. With hard work, honesty, and supporting one another, great things can happen ❤️ GO TUESDAY!
