Northwest Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9-31 getting airborne out of MSP in post-Delta-merger 2010. Thankfully I did get to fly on one before they were all gone - enjoying those classic NWA interiors. 😉 There’s a reason these old girls (DC-9s in general) were still flying commercially after nearly 50 years of service: they are built like tanks. 👍🏼
American Eagle operated by Envoy will be taking me back home to Chicago! It was a great quick trip back home to Carbondale but work calls again!
The day when I get to fly with the same captain that flew us to BKI in the morning with 9M-MWA "BIMP EAGA" and coming back with another special livery 9M-MWF in the evening. My ride back home from BKI with MASwings ATR72-500 registered as 9M-MWF named "Miri" in "Negaraku" livery. Had to admit really looks cooler and shinier from the outside.
