We get a lot of questions about traveling with armor through TSA, or in other security environments with checkpoints.
There are no restrictions for carrying armor with you as your personal protection through TSA.
When you travel through a checkpoint you can keep your armor system inside of your backpack, purse or bag. Sometimes a TSA official may conduct additional inspection of your bags. If asked about your armor, you can simply inform them of your personal armor protection. Search Body Armor, on the TSA official website to see their approval for armor systems.
Our DFNDR team along with countless of customers and protection service personnel, travel with DFNDR Armor on a daily basis domestically and internationally without any issues.
