Nutrition-try to eat a source of protein with every meal you have. .
Nutrition is tricky post birth. Lack of sleep, emotions, any post birth issues, and if you are breastfeeding can mean you are reaching for the easy, high sugar snacks and meals. Trying to get a good protein source in with each meal and snack will help with healing and keep you feeling fuller for longer. Try not to stress if this is really difficult because the last thing you need is more stress. I don’t always manage this. Just do the best you can and that is good enough. Here are some few examples of good sources of complete protein - Chicken, beef, pork, eggs, fish, cottage cheese, Greek yoghurt and protein powder.
Things like milk, cheese, yoghurts, legumes, beans, nuts and seeds are all incomplete sources and are best combined with other sources.
