Today I have the last sandbag variation to show you. These sandbag moves are not the only moves you can use a sandbag for 😉 there are heaps of other moves you can do! Today I would like to coach you through #sandbagclean into #reverseburpees . Sounds fun?!!! 🤩💪 #sandbagclean and #reverseburpees :
Start in a deadlift position (knees and hips bent with but pushing backwards). Using the power in your hips, core and lats, powerfully drive upwards into a Clean. Inhale and release the sandbag back to start position before you lower down into squat style deadlift. Then lower down into your Reverse Burpee. On your way up from the Reverse Burpee, hands grab hold of the sandbag, engage your core and squeeze your lats as you stand up. = 1 rep. Repeat for reps or time.
Exactly the same start position (start with a clean) BUT this time, maintain the Clean “rack” position as you lower down into a reverse burpee, with the sandbag (no different to using a plate weight). Strongly engage your core and powerfully stamp down through your legs, to drive up upwards. Release Clean “rack” position to deadlift position. = 1 rep. Repeat for reps or time.
You can use this move in any session: legs, upper body, core, bootcamp, or a 2 minute finisher at the end of a cardio session!!! 🔥🌟👌
