IM LIKE A KID IN THE CANDY STORE RIGHT NOW....
As I was reading this morning from one of my favorite I’ve read so far by John C Maxwell, what do I come upon? .
A quote from a beloved prophet of our church, Gordon B Hinckley, on the topic of leadership, and I fell in Love this quote so much that I had to share it! .
So many of us believe that leadership means to put one face in public while being another in private, but to see from the greatest leaders of the world state that our behaviors both in public and private dictate who we really are as a leader got me thinking deeply in my life and what example am I setting for my followers, but also for my family and those closest to me! .
Am I being the example I want to be for my family as well as my followers? .
Am I being an example of discipline, good character, humility, honesty, and hard work? .
This quote got me reflecting so deeply, that I have not been able to crack open another book like I usually do in the mornings! .
So I wanted to extend a question to my followers, to begin some deep thoughts, what are your thoughts on this quote? How can true leadership carry a burden of being an example? What examples of leadership have you seen that both emulates this principle, and examples that it doesn’t? .
I hope this sparks a deeper self evaluation in ourselves too! .
