The idea behind 'breaking up' the distance with designated rests, allows you to push st s pace faster than if you swam the 200m straight. This allows better technique and motor patterns to develop, plus is a more efficient way to build aerobic fitness.
To get your time for each 200n subtract your total rest time at the end of each interval. A fantastic set to do over a season to track progress!
