Top 3 tips on training, nutrition or contest prep.
1. Never skip out on your water. It’s so important when you are pushing your body to extremes to make sure that you are hydrated. If you have trouble drinking plain water I find it helpful to add lemon juice to it. And sometimes when I have a sweet tooth I also and stevia to it and make it into a sugar free lemonade.
2. If you are in the area try and book at least 1 session with your coach. This way you can see the intensity at which they want you to train. It’s also great to see your coach face to face. They can also help you with form and tempo because there’s always something that can be improved upon.
3. Meal prep doesn’t have to be boring. Download cooking apps for food ideas, pick up fun low carb/sugar free spices. Change up how you prepare your food to keep it exciting i.e Bake, broil, bbq.
