@flot.leonard Our proposal for NUCLEAR ideas competition. The brief asked to design a marker system to deter inadvertent human intrusion into the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. "The landscape marker directly above WIPP is proposed to be a deep carving of land in a form of a grid. The overburden is formed into a circular berm as a barrier and a frame around the marker. Over the years and millennias, generations of tourists will visit the site, take a piece of sandstone from the berm, carve a prescribed warning message, and deposit the stone in the sand of the trenches. The marker will eventually fill up, to become an archeological repository of warning symbols, a cradle of humanity, leaving clues for future visitors both alien and human about dangers of what lies beneath."
