I didn’t post this a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to get it hung up first.
I have to say I have the bestest friends ever!! This picture and plaque used to hang in the
Tilbury Veterinary Hospital. My mom ran that clinic for nearly 20yrs.
I always wondered what happened to this especially since that vet is no longer there.
Well, Randy & I had to make a quick trip back home a couple of weekends ago and we were stuck for a boarder for Jesse, our dog, so I got in touch with Noah's Ark, namely Raine Harper-Bullard and she graciously made room for our little guy even though they were fully booked.
She said she had something for me so she was happy to see that we were coming down and could give it to me instead of mailing it. Jesse had a good stay and when we went to pick him up Lorraine handed me this package.
Ya, you can say there was a bit of a waterworks show happening. I’m not a person that cries much but this made me totally break down, in a good way. I always thought that maybe they had gotten in touch with my dad and gave it to him but I guess not.
My mom loved her job and all the animals, our house showed it. You could come to our place and at any given time you could find many dogs, cats, birds and the occasional miniature horse. She was the original “Ellie May Clampet”.
She helped everyone she could in the area with fixing their injured animals, boarding services etc.
Thanks Lorraine, mom is home and has a permanent place in our wall. ❤️
