To look at the world is one thing but to actualy see it is another -unknown

It would be so nice if I had open sky in front of my house. 😏 Also, that little white dot is the Moon. 🌚

Hi guys! I am starting a hashtag called
#TravelTalesOfaMuslim to feature other Muslims and to inspire more Muslims to travel more and see Gods beautiful creations. I'd really love for you to join me in my quest!.
I will be writing a short blog on why and how this idea came about and the rationale behind it! Stay tuned 🙌

I don't know why I feel the most alive being high places, climbing rocks and trees, overlooking mountinous and breath taking views. May Allah swt grant us opportunities to do the things we love and be surrounded in environments that motivate and nurture our development #TravelTalesOfaMuslim

I don't even know which place to call home anymore 🤔

Meet Hasan, our Cappadocian tour guide and owner of the Vineyard Cave Hotel. Hasan's wealth of knowledge and experience brought our tour to life. He was brought up in a cave house and enjoyed reminiscing his days as a young schoolboy when he would walk to school for miles in the Cappadocian valleys. When we dropped a piece of camera equipment into the valley, he beat all of us young'uns in retrieving it, climbing up slippery slopes and unstable rocks in his tan leather loafers. Hasan, we salute you!

My aunts laughed at me because they couldn’t see what was so cute about their little town. Maybe being a tourist with fresh eyes is a good thing ❤️

The town of Goreme in Cappadocia has a strong Mediterranean vibe, with its intense heat, potted plants and pretty railings

During your stay in Cappadocia, leave time to visit a pottery store. Although you can find cheap knockoffs in the local tourist shops, it is here that you will find beautiful Turkish ceramics of excellent quality and finish. @KapadokyaSeramik house a basement gallery of beautiful handmade vases, tiles, jugs and so much more. Pictured is one of their team members who completed shaping this vase in less than 5 minutes!

This was how it was with travel: one city gives you gifts, another robs you. One gives you the heart’s affections, the other destroys your soul. Cities and countries are as alive, as feeling, as fickle and uncertain as people. Their degrees of love and devotion are as varying as with any human relation. Just as one is good, another is bad.

If you haven't yet been convinced that you need to plan a trip to Cappadocia in 2018, this aerial view should do the trick! This shot wasn't taken by a drone, but from a hot air balloon a few thousand feet above the ground. Rug weaving in Anatolia first began with the arrival of the Turkish tribes from Central Asia, who settled in this region. For fans of the critically acclaimed Turkish drama, Ertugrul, these are the types of rugs the women are often seen working on. The women would weave their own experiences and feelings into the rugs, using symbols representing their desires (fertility for example) or protection (evil eye motif). Check out the Rose Carpet Shop in Goreme, Cappadocia, for a beautiful selection of these timeless rugs.
