Title: Kodoku - Poorvi Koutish ft. @okunomitsuru
#YouTube Link below. (Please Swipe right to listen to the entire song 😊) This #storysunday I’m posting a raw video of an original song written and played within an hour of meeting a stranger (who’s now a friend). The story is, I was trekking alone in the upper hills of a small town/ village named ‘Dharamkot’ and since I was climbing for hours, I made my way to a little lane of cafes to grab a cup of masala tea. Just then, my iPod battery dies, and I happen to listen to this Japanese dude practising some beautiful jazz chord progressions. I’m usually not the person to go initiate conversations or disturb someone’s vibe, but this time I HAD to. WE jammed without an introduction. Later we spoke about where we’re from, what we do and all that jazz. I asked him if he wants to collab on an original, he looked confused but said ‘okay’. So I asked him about his current state of mind, and trying to adjust that with my mental drama, I wrote something, also asked him to translate some lines in Japanese. AND we had an Indo-Japanese original ready! So since the cafe got a little crowded, we walked up a hill, climbed a random rooftop and tried balancing the phone on a water tank stand …and recorded it! HAHA Thank you Hiromitsu Hirata. You’re awesome! Hope you find kindness and happiness wherever you travel next to! :) Moral of this travel experience was,
say what you want to, whats the worse that could happen really? We’re all dying anyway. Lol. .
