“Why are you single/not married/traveling alone/eating alone/walking alone/[fill in the blank] alone?” I get asked these questions all the time. I actually like spending time alone, it doesn’t make me feel lonely. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me time to decompress as an introvert who recharges when not around people (even though I LOVE people). Also, I know what settling feels like because I’ve been there. I don’t need someone to wife me, I expect someone to ignite me. #365reasonstosmileaboutgettingolder (44/365) You learn alone does not equal lonely. And alone time is one of the best things you can give yourself.
