Need dinner plans? Ready to take a step back to a simpler time?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Look no further than one of our fave Wisconsin hot spots- the Bristol 45 Diner (Bristol 45 Diner)! It was located just 1/4 mile down the road from our old office and we already miss it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tableside visits from the Lone Ranger and some sweet crooning from Elvis makes this Diner quite a nice break in anyone's day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My favorite #skyline views are usually taken from an odd perspective, like this #frombelow shot from an #architecturetour in #Chicago. There’s something so timeless about seeing a city from the water. And we spent the rest the trip pointing out structural details to each other, so I guess the #architecture lesson worked. How do you like to experience a city? #jj_forum_2250

Sometimes I like to prove you can dress me up AND take me out👗

I had a great time at @jltulsa Gem Gala! The event was beautiful and my date was pretty hot too! 💙💙💙 Just to put the cherry on top there was a #hansonbrother being honored. Which is pretty cool! •

Repost from @getawayhouse // Your inbox and social media feeds may have been flooded lately with a ton of Mothers Day promo sales, urging you to gift flowers or the latest beauty product. In the spirit of balance, we’re suggesting you simply give the woman who’s likely balanced and juggled a lot in her life a call (if you can’t see her)—and spend some quality time talking with her. She’ll appreciate it. 💛

Getawayhouse inspires travelers to disconnect and recharge in one of their tiny houses situated in the heart of nature. Would love to see them expand to MN! Check them out! They are awesome. 👏🏽

Sitting here patiently waiting for everything to turn green 💚 #Throwback

These are May Apples. scientific name, Podophyllum...and they’re pretty cool. They’re a native Spring plant commonly found in the forest preserves around Chicago(and other places) that rarely grows more than a foot and a half tall. During the Jurassic Period, however, they grew to heights of 60 or more feet towering above the smaller dinosaurs.
.
This year's Spring migration has resulted in an unexpected appearance of exotic Micro-saurs. Scientists suspect that the combination of gradual climate change and threats of a Great Wall across the border with Mexico are forcing them farther north into Canada where they might establish new nesting grounds.*sarcasm*
.
May Apples form little apples down underneath the two leaves. They bloom in May but the apples don't ripen until later in the summer. The leaves, seeds and roots are poisonous but the ripened apples aren't and make a nice jelly.
.
Other common names are Duck's Foot, American Mandrake, Ground Lemon(the apples taste lemony), Raccoon Berry, Hog Apple and Indian Apple. although I despise that last common name, it should be noted that long before europeans got to the Americas, Indigenous peoples FIRST used the plant as a cathartic(which means they used it to accelerate defecation. BRILLIANT!!!)

I took this pic while hiking at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in Darien, Illinois. go check it out. - 🧙🏾‍♂️
